Entered the portrait of Sarka into this years BP Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery. Apparently she made it as far as the final round of judging but didnt make the final selection for the show. Close but no cigar this year!

Came across this feature about the Plus One Gallery on the Daily Mirrors website.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/who-needs-a-camera-artists-create-766729 Plus One is a gallery that only sells work by the best in contemporary photo realism. It is a great gallery and worth a visit if you are in the Slone Square area. I always have time for Andrew Tift, Craig Wylie and Simon Hennesseys work amongst others. Inspirational. So just finished the portrait of the Brick Lane girl named Sarka, you can view it on the portrait page of the site. The portrait was done in about 10 weeks full on. I am off to sit on our terrace to have a margarita and unwind. Looking forward to getting back to the nearly finished portrait of Rita the legendary waitress for the original Hard Rock Cafe here in London. Sould be completed in 2 to 3 weeks.
