So we went down to the opening night party for the Outside the White Cube exhibition, it was a steamy summers night.  The gallery and everyones artwork looked great and it was all well organized.  There were the usual welcome speeches and greetings, and then they went to award prizes for the artists...guess who recieved the grand prize??  Can you guess?? 
I was completely shocked and stunned to hear that I was awarded the big one.  Still cant believe it...unreal.  I was totally thrilled to be a part of the show but to be recognized on top of that is really just amazing.  Thanks to the team at the show for making my summer.

So found out that two of my pictures made the final cut for the first annual Outside the White Cube exhibition.  The event will take place from July 25 to August 10th at the Bermondsey Project Space...its actually a great, decent sized gallery space.  I have just seen some of the other works to be on show and its is all adding up to be a Celebration of Sport (geddit).  Say hi to Kathryn the organizer when you go, she is super nice and is putting on the whole shebang for charity.

Just found out that two of my portraits, "Sarka" and "Love All, Serve All - Rita" have been shortlisted for this years Cork Street Open Exhibition.  Hooray!

Now in it's fifth year, the Cork Street Open Exhibition is held in
Londons fashionable Mayfair, and will take place from 23 -31st August 2012.

The purpose of Cork Street Open Exhibitions is to provide an opportunity for both emerging and established artists from around the world to gain exposure and sell their work while benefiting this years charity Centrepoint for homeless young people.
