What a day for me...had the best time at the press event and then the opening night party for the 2014 BP Portrait Award.  Saw many old and new friends.  Enjoyed seeing sitter Edward Lucie-Smith with his portrait hung in the National Portrait Gallery...thank you Edward for all your help!  The show is now on in London thru to September 21st.  http://www.npg.org.uk

Joe Machine preview party

Had a fun time at the opening party for the Joe Machine exhibition at the Omnibus arts centre.  His work has always intrigued me and the new Alice in Wonderland theme to his new pieces were no exception.  It is on until the 13th of June.  www.omnibus-clapham.org

The artist Joe Machine...gotta love that name.  His satirical piece in the background features Damien Hirst as the Mad Hatter.

Edward Lucie-Smith looking good next to a model wearing a custom gown featuring photography by Edward.  The model is actually Heather Wells and she is the Deputy Editor of The London Magazine.  Dresses at the event were designed by Charlotte Machine.

Dont ask me how but I managed to secure a printed photo from one of the gowns!  Here is Edward adding his autograph for me...will need a good frame for that.  Fun times!
