Had dinner and a chit chat this week with non other than the legendary arts critic, artist and author Edward Lucie-Smith.  Can say that the evening was a complete, over the top, pleasure for me, it was a bit like watching a film of your life.

Had a stunning meal at The Brasserie Zedel in Picadilly then strolled down to the artists party for the final Cork Street Open Exhibition.
It was an incredible mix of artists and an amazing collection of contemporary artwork.  The exhibition is open for two more days so be sure to get there if possible.  Its open: Thursday the 15th from 10am - 8pm and Friday from 10am-6pm. You won't be disappointed by the impressive selection of paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, prints, digital art and mixed media.  http://corkstreetopenexhibition.com

My painting as displayed....very happy to have been included in the last ever show.  Thanks to Kathryn, Rodney and the team. Over the years you have made an important contribution to Londons vibrant Cork Street arts hub and also for the artists involved in your shows.   The best part was that everything was in aid of the selected youth charities...job well done!!

Today is the first day for all you art lovers to peruse the Cork Street Open Exhibition in Londons fashionable Mayfair.  In my opinion one of the best art events of the year with such a diverse selection.  Congratulations to the organizeers and their team, the display this year is first rate.  The whole shebang is in support of the charity CRISIS so dont forget your cheque books.  Open daily till August 16th.    http://www.corkstreetopenexhibition.com
