Have just about recoverd from the amazing news that one of my portraits has made it into this years BP Portrait Award at the National Portrait Gallery in London.  The show is the pinnacle when it comes to contemporary portraiture...this year there were 2,377 entries from around the globe and the final selection of 55 paintings will go on show from the 26th of June 2014.  Below is a detail of my portrait of Edward Lucie-Smith.

The Arts Depot Open 2014 is now....open for  those needing a good  fix of visual arts.  From photography to sculptue to pastels and paints there is something for everyone.  The show is on at the mega-hub arts centre that is the Arts Depot from now till April 24.   http://www.artsdepot.co.uk/
