So ...again was very excited to deliver my newly finished painting titled 'Winter' to the National Portrait Gallery's annual open exhibition. With a large bubble wrapped package (and a google map) under my arm I finally arrived to the airport hanger size of a warehouse in Bermondsey to drop off the work for judging. Had a sneeky peek behind the reception area to the vast space beyond and saw what was thousands of portraits lined up, in groups of about 10 per stack. Quickly realized the scale of this prestigious event...wow.
